There will be two versions however. One for the young and faint of heart, and one for those more adventurous.

Watch out for the Slender Man!!!!!!!

During the 2012-2013 school year, Star Theatre performed the play "Tuna Town" and the original musical "Disney on the Drawing Board," which utilized the writing talents of two students, Justus Mason and Garrett Monson. Star Theatre encourages students to grow their skills and talents through performances under the directorship of Mr. Charlie LeSueur.

For those students not interested in being in front of the curtain or camera we provide a hands on stage crew class. This includes learning about back stage protocol and operations such as lighting and sound. The tech crew also works on each and every show at the school to provide the very best "hands on" experience possible.

Each week a current list of outside stage and film auditions as well as stage crew positions are made available to students. Several present students are already continously working on stage and film projects outside the school. As a matter of fact so successful has the outside work become that a blog is in progress which will feature these busy young actors and technicians who also receive class credit from the perfoming arts classes for their professional work.

Always check back to see what is happening at Star. If you look at the Upcoming Events you will see that we have many things going on each and every month. The haunted house at the Fall Festival (Halloween event) is sure to create a stir. My tech crew is already working on the effects to make sure you get your money's worth. Many of the crew are already making a name for themselves in film and stage so it's sure to be something to remember.

At the same event, Stars on Stage will be performing as will our vocal group along with games for the younger crowd. Tickets are only $3.00 for the entire event plus a one time excursion through our Haunted House. If you want to go through more than once tickets will be available for purchase.

COMING SOON! We will be posting success stories of current students at Star Academy. We are proud of what they have already contributed to the arts. It shows that not only are we a performing arts school in the truest sense but that we also strive to give our performers and tech crew a chance to use their talents.

Check out our Face Book sites for Stars on Stage and Sequoia Star Performing Arts and be a part of the school with your posts. It's a great way to get to know each other, and exchange opinions, and ideas.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Charlie LeSueur
